Is it just me or is the appeal of these threads for non Shield fanboys just to see how shamelessly and autistically the OP defends his overestimation of the show? That's really what keeps me reading them. The strawman shit against The Wire, assuming those shows are in direct competition and anyone saying the Shield is less than the greatest is some Wire apologist. And the denial that The Shield being super underrated is an uncommon opinion. The funniest part is that no one thinks The Shield is shitty. Everyone just thinks it's decent. Everyone has watched it and doesn't disparage it much. Just can't elevate it quite so high. And that enrages the OP types.
