I'm in a somewhat similar situation as you, but maybe a slightly different perspective.
I started going on the internet when I was around six, although I had a desktop computer when I used when I was a kid offline before that. I started going online because of flash games, but I became really interested in chat rooms that some website had with the games. I'm a very shy & private person, so even as a kid I found it easier to talk to people over the internet.
What really hooked me was the forums at the time. I began to recognize usernames and enjoying reading how people acted online, whether it was serious discussion, flame wars, or people trolling. Ended up making a few very good friends from a niche forum that I talked to for years on Skype.
When I look back, I don't really know if things would have turned out that much different for me. I might have ended up just being a bookworm or something similar. I do think it helped me become a fairly decent typist which is a skill I do take advantage of pretty frequently in my career.

Unlocked Gman’s office qt friendship mode.
Traded the succubus for her after work and we ended up drinking some beers and talking about things like who is the hottest girl at the cagie and how butts are very erotic. Couldn’t reveal how I think a coworker that also happens to be her friend is extremely hot and how I would marry her without a second thought if single (because she would immediately spill the beans).
She also said she wanted to have kids with his bf one day and it made me happy because almost no young person in Portugal (beside gyppos and brownoids) want to have kiddos.
She paid for all my beers, what a success.
Now, home.

I've contemplating giving Pinker a nice little beating. Maybe pinch his nipples until he squeals like a little piggy..

I do maintenance to my mechanical watches myself, I have all the tools. I’m good in that regard, unless a part gets broken or similar.
I’ve even brought to life the ancient Cauny chronograph my grandfather had.
Also, I have two Seiko (SNK009 and SRDP65), a Citizen (automatic titanium model) and a Casio (DW5600UBB1).
