You actually put that very well. Archie had no respect for ANY of these characters, whether they originated in the games or not. Everything about them got bastardized somehow, and the worst of them got made even worse. I don't know what kind of crack those authors were smoking, but their writing was hot garbage. It's the worst iteration of Sonic, period. Archiefags need to stop bringing it up as if it's some hidden gem.
