I don't know anon, it never felt like that big of a deal, maybe because I only play on core. I've never felt the need to have constant buffs up for everything. To me it just sounds like bullshit from people who can't build for shit

All that you get for taking Solomorne is him crying about his dog, which is honestly incredibly pathetic, and the dialogue chain where you determine his conviction path. Go nuts if you feel like that's content worth seeing. If you want to make a cut drop Abelard or Pasqal, they have nothing story critical to their paths there. I would also say Cassia, if you're not romancing her, but since everyone romances Cassia, that's not possible, so yeah.
