Pairing Tails with Whisper or Tangle is giving either of those characters too much credit and actively devalues Tails as a character just by him interacting with them. Crying Lesbians do not deserve best boy interactions.

Now this I can talk about.
TailsxCosmo: A very wholesome and normal ship. Their interactions are from where they're young so it's hard to consider how the relationship would develop as they grow older but I like to imagine that Seedrians go through growth spurts like plants do and as they enter a new phase in their life ie; Baby, Child, Pre-teen, Adolscence, Adulthood, they have some kind of control over how their bodies and minds develop into those stages and so Cosmo would ultimately become the perfect wholesome wifey for Tails even if she isn't exactly tech smart and a lot of Tails' random tangents go over her head. Sometimes Cosmo just likes listening him talk on and on about things because his voice relaxes and soothes her.
TailsxZooey is again a very vanilla and normie relationship. Zooey likes Boom Tails' charm and kind nature but is probably a bit put off with his disposition to create bombastic weapons and plans to combat against Eggman when he gets wrapped up in his schemes. She'd be an anchor for Boom!Tails whenever he gets too high off his own fumes and hype and probably be an even better de-escalator than even Amy is for him. Vice-versa, Tails often plans extremely extravagant and often over-the-top dates, anniversaries and honeymoons and while Zooey often tries to downplay the importance of it, she can't help but feel utterly flushed and queenly with how far he'll go to impress her on the days and nights he thinks are important for her.

TailsxMina is very hard to even ponder on because both writers who dealt with the ship and wrote it didn't bother to actually delve into their relationship at all. Pretty much anything I can think about the two being together is based solely off headcanon.
