But the ending cinematic happens AFTER verso kills them, and they're there again! We know that if someone isn't in the frame, that they haven't abandoned alicia, and if they're not in the frame, they have chosen to abandon alicia. So when we see them fading away, they're all actively choosing to abandon alicia! Why would they do that? And why would Lune and Sciel, who were sitting right next to Alicia, abandon her right before Verso starts playing? What a bunch of weird writing choices.
