I was raiding in that time also and aside from some 30+ y/o boomers who were constantly yapping in voice comms, I'd argue the majority of the playerbase (which were young male teen social outcast nerd) had the same excuse.

If a dps joined a pug raid, everyone already thought to themselves "alright, let's see what excuse to not have comms or talk it's gonna be this time".

How do you solve this problem? Not specifically for WoW, but for gaming in general?
