In gold yonma as expert 3, with 25-25-25-25 placement, you get +5 points.
In gold sanma as expert 3, with 33-33-33 placement, you get -15 points. You already have to outperform your peers significantly in order to reach Jade.
This makes Jade sanma very difficult, despite the relative rarity of saints.
