No. Once you release it to the public it's no longer exclusively yours. You might have the legal rights to the IP and so on, but art becomes art when it's shared with other people, because it's the reactions and experiences of those people that elevates it. People change as they age, and artists are no exceptions. The art they made while young is likely not the same as what they make when they're elderly, at which point they might as well be two different people. If you don't want A New Hope, directed by George Lucas (33), to be reworked by J. J. Abrams, you shouldn't want it reworked by George Lucas (81) either
