Well the GC "battle" of la Vuelta has come to an end, but that doesn't mean the end of /WORLD TOUR WINE/ (bier) !! The fall classics season is heating up, and we have a Canadian beer to celebrate the GP Cycliste de Quebec!

Today's beer has a fun memory for me. Many years ago, I was a first-year graduate student and took a weekend road trip with my roommates to Quebec. We stayed at a hostel in Quebec City which actually had this beer on tap in the common room. When I had my first glass after a long drive in my POS VW Golf, I thought the tap hadn't been cleaned properly and was full of soap. I had never tasted a beer of any style other than "Cheap American Macro Lager".

Pours a pretty orange-honey with fine mousse. The nose has coriander and orange, and palate follows with some hop zest. Carbonation is strong and pleasant. This is just good, no flaws, easy to drink, pleasant, a bit of interest. I think my Belgian chien in the background sums up my response.
