For recess washing bright colors like white or yellow that require painful amounts of cleanup afterwards - use oil based paints.
Base, highlight, then gloss varnish. After the varnish cures - recess wash with oils and immediately cleanup with white spirit. Gunpla folk have done it for ages using "panel liners".

I believe in the Imperialization of Chaos is the ultimate goal of the Emperor and the point of the setting. The Emperor plans to rewrite all of the Immaterium into his image. Abaddon the Loyalist, his greatest ally, is secretly into this plan. This is why he chose the name Imperium Nihilius, to retain the name Imperium.

Together, all of Chaos will become theirs. Khorne will wake up on his Golden Skull Throne, not realizing there's anything wrong. Tzeentch will be unable to shapeshift in any form but Space Marines. The only drugs going through Slaanesh will be performance enhancers for Space Marines. Nurgle's Nurglings have already started wearing human hats. The process has begun and cannot be stopped. Besides Daemons, all Chaos on tabletop is already Chaos Imperium. Eventually there will only be Chaos Imperium. Then there will be no Chaos without Imperium.

It's already working marvelously. The poster children for Chaos are CSM who fight with Bolters, Plasma, and other Imperial weapons. No Chaos Xenos exist. Daemons will be squatted and soon all Chaos will be Imperium + Spikes.

Chaos will become Imperialized. Just imagine what this means, the Immaterium composed of thoughts from countless universes, all being Imperium. This means across all realities, it's impossible to even THINK of non-Imperial things. This is the Emperor's goal.

I'm going to turn the 60 primaris infernus marines into 30 possessed and additional models to my chaos' liking. At least I think I might. Jury's still out on that part.

I have 120 chaos marines on the way, and 2k list requires 95 of them. Chaos Cabal, using 25 Rubrics.

The list is going to have 12 havoc chain cannons, 6 chaincannons, 5 soulreaper cannons. It's going to be Minigun Marines with +1str shots. With 11 plasma guns and 6 plasma pistols. Extra 25 marines will get conversions later.

There's a scene in one book with Abaddon where he is on the Vengeful Spirit's bridge and he is looking at the astronomican in the distance. There is one other chaos marine with him there and they are discussing about something.
But when Abaddon is looking at the Astronomican's direction, other marine notices that but just for a moment Abaddon's eyes seems to have a minute golden glow/sheen to them.

Yes, the glows and highlights on the energy bits are very smooth and clear, but that's why I'm kinda disappointed with the bodies. Specially the big sword of the skorpehk lord, you can even see where he applied the drug brush.
For someone that can do such fine highlights with the energy, I would have expected NMM, even if very restrained to keep the very dark aesthetic

If you're a busy with life, don't put high painting standards for you.

Just base spray, then wash with let's say Nuln Oil, then some paint for weapons, to make them distinguishable. Done.

I saw many adult men, who'd like to play, but they don't what to play with unpainted minis. But they can never finish painting, because they want to paint every detail, do every gradient, highlight and shadow. And they never have time for it, because of life. And this makes them living in a gaming limbo for years.

Remember, it's better to have a battle ready army and play with dudes, than having 5 well painted miniatures on your shelf and another 50 miniatures on sprues in the boxes and never play.

If not that stupid perfectionism, we'd have much more good chill dudes to play with.

I went to the warhammer store in Poland during their anniversary this year and literally nothing was happening there. Alright, time to paint. Any final tips before I ruin hours of my hard work of cleaning and assembling those litle shits?
