Reckless Rush + Wildfire and all the talents that synergize, make sure to grab the Always Ready talent too that gives you versatility at the start of the fight so u can Reckless Rush right away.
Specc her into heavy weapons for the Heavy Bolter, that thing deletes everything.

You basically have 3 full bursts per turn this way, and thats before you get turns from officers

Servo Skull & Raven do their best powers by just existing, but Raven can also do AoE while Skull can force enemies to attack themselves and AoE tank
Eagle on the other hand also has lots of AoE damage potential
Dog is mostly single target = bad in a game where you're fighting 15-20+ enemies usually at once and you have to waste your AP for single target shit

just made it to edge of daybreak and I can't even damage this thing. I've been one shotting every encounter on daring so far. even the daemon engine thing in the basement I killed in one turn with heinrix. now I'm really struggling with this. is it intentionally that I can't gain any momentum in this fight? my moment is stuck, I kill 3 lesser dudes with cassia which normally maxes my momentum but the bar doesn't increase at all. I think not gaining momentum is intentional, but heroic acts effect carry over from the first phase.
Before it teleports and puts up shield it has fairly high defense, and after it put up shield you have to kill 1 of the mobs it summon, that mob will try to run the first time it takes damage

Soldier MT is my favorite and still my favorite build in the game
Pyro Exeutioner is also amazing but only truly comes online at level 26 for screen wide nukes
Soldier will always be the best start because Run & Gun for casting Ignite twice even early is really fun, same for Ignite > Run and Gun > Firestorm in turn 1
And Camaraderie is one of the best %damage boosts in the game especially when as Pyro you don't have to move away from allies with Second Sight

Shadowblade is op casually soloing everything and there's also a dog there. Overseer seems like an action point waste so far.

Maybe when i get deeper into overseer the dog will do something. But the one that's pretty neat so far is the raven for Idra which lets her aoe cast psyker abilities which makes her a crazy strong aoe healer.

Humanity had godlike technology in the past and then it all came crashing down. What they have in 40k is cobbled together from what little they could salvage of lost tech from the past because innovation is outlawed.

I played like 70% of the way through when it first released, now I'm playing it with all enemies having doubled stats and every companion active in my party at once. It's actually fairly challenging. I would strongly advise upping the NPC stats difficulty option to 30-40% if you're having an easy time.

The most important thing about Faction maxxing is doing the Colony Projects that increase Rep for them, especially in Act 4 where the last tier projects can give like +20k Faction Rep at once, these projects are mutually exclusive with others of the same rank (that often DON'T increase Faction Rep) so do the ones that increase Faction Rep instead, meaning you can maxx them out as early as Act 4 begins
Also have Jae join you at the end of Act 2 Coronation event which means free +15k Kasballica rep, Kasballica is the worst one to increase so this matters
Explorators & Fellowship have the best items, the other two aren't worth maxxing out

The thing is the relationship between Inquisition and Rogue Traders is actually well written in the base game
They both offer the respect that each side deserves but they are also clear about pursuing their own goals with the powers vested in them by the Emperor
The Inquisitors very rarely give you orders outright but instead request your aid, recommend certain courses of action, overlook what would be transgressions for everyone else and so on. The only time they overstep that boundary is when they deem it be an emergency of sector-spanning consequences, which is an act in line with the Inquisition's scope of power and method of acting
The DLC Arbites on the other hand straight up arrest you and put you on trial because an Administratum clerk said you touched the taxes in the wrong places. They should all commit sudoku for even entertaining this notion

TLDR: 6.5/10 quite mid DLC, Solomon is boring, companion pets are okay, reactivity leaves much to be desired, new bosses are fun, Overseer is fun

Okay so I made it all the way to Act 5 with Solomon. Played everything Lex Imperialis had to offer, and I have to say it was disappointing. Compared to Void Shadows quality, this new DLC is pretty weak. Solomon introduction was that interesting or shocking as Kibbles introduction, I wasn't very excited to meet the Adeptus Arbites companion at all.
Solomon’s personality is flat, boring even, and sorely lacks the nuance or inner conflict that made companions like Pasqal and Argenta stand out. His VA isn't that great either, he is just a generic white guy with a black paint job.
When compared to Kibbles he gets overshadowed greatly, "Domin".
His companion quest is equally underwhelming, offering few surprises and little in the way of emotional or thematic payoff. His reason to spy on you are simple "I was told to do so", again no personality. There is barely any reactivity from other companions on his quest and doesn't integrate very well with the main story. It was too short to or felt like that, since most of the time Solomon was gone doing who knows what and he just shows up later.
Despite all that, the new encounters were fun but not very challenging, I liked the first boss the most.
My thoughts on the Overseer class, It's fun but not viable in higher difficulties. This game is designed around rolling initiative first and nuking everyone on the screen before it gets a chance to act and do the same to you. Tanks are not useful at all, and the shield doesn't make them survive long either.
The Coomrag torture for Solomon was fine tho.
I would also like to add that the Bird familiar is stupid OP, after testing and trying some things I figured it can do crazy AoE and damage. It was fun.

Just finished the game.
Last act was tacked on.
Didn't really have anything to do with anything else you did.
Game started bugging out hard near the end that dead companions started interjecting into dialogue because their dead/alive switch somehow got flipped in the code.
The post-slides were very underwhelming, mentioned decisions I never made and just showed the picture of NPC's instead of drawn scenes.

Despite being a dogmatic zealot I never had the chance to call out Winterscale for his obvious heresy because he was killing xenos and that's cool. He even said "Blood for the Blood Throne" or some shit and when my character pointed it out, he goes "Oh yeah I say a lot of shit in battle you know how it is". Then he became a demon and killed billions because the game never gave me a non-iconoclast way to rectify that.

Her shtick is that she's an indoor kid who looks up to you because you're something of a noble wandering knight taking her on an adventure. Kibellah is a frightening killer who looks and act scary and, on her own, is less dependent than Cass. (Cass literally has to be taught how to act around people not only because she transmit her emotions but also because she's never been around anybody that wasn't a servant before coming on your ship.) Kibble's deal is that romancing her actually fucks her up because you're reintroducing pain and desires onto a psyche that was constructed around having banished any possibility of ever feeling anything of this nature.

It's true the entire game was written with the intention of you being a heroic Rogue Trader which works as either being a good boy fighting for the Imperium or as a self-serving Rogue Trader that makes the most out of his own dynasty. The heretic path was tacked on just to have it but it's not fleshed out at all and you usually follow the same directions a normal Rogue Trader would with some awkwardly placed heresy options to show that you're totally down with being evil. Do not recommend.
