Heard it from someone else, so it could be bullshit, but I heard nothing about it being rejected outright by Toby either so, it's w/e. Might as well be "canon" because Toby won't reflect anymore on the fates of the other six dead kids in Undertale. I'm not a fan of having such a milktoast and contrived pacifist conclusion, but the game is very well made otherwise. I'd personally give it a pass if the Normal Route is considered the actual ending.
