There are those things called Special Missions (in the HOME screen click the clipboard > Special Mission tab).
The first list of missions will get you a random 3 stars Ticket, basically it will give you a random 3 stars uma (from the same list/pool as the 3 stars selector ticket).
You probably want to complete those missions and get your random 3 stars first, that way you can avoid ending up like >>715725089 (even if that's a low probability).

You can finish 95% of the first special missions by playing with the five starting characters: Daiwa Scarlet, Vodka, Haru Urara, Sakura Bakushin O and Goldship, I recommend starting with Bakushin (select her as front runner and invest in a lot of SPEED).
There are two infamous missions though: The claw machine and "getting 5 friends in the same training", for the claw machine it can only happen in years 2 (classic) or 3 (senior), it can happen randomly when you use the Recreation option. For the mission of getting 5 people training, it's about the top-right corner of the screen, sometimes you can have multiple support card characters helping you, this one is very luck based so just play normally and if the opportunity presents itself, always try it even if the failure rate is high.
