I beat the game before the censorship and easier difficulty. I honestly don't think the censorship would affect me since I never knew what any of the characters names were and was constantly getting confused by every single character. WU BU and YAOU WON CHU and RIN TINN TIN.
The game was pretty great. My favorite game of the year. My major complaint with the game is that it was way too fucking hard. Especially the snow fortress where there were bombs on the road after every corner.

The censorship doesn't affect me because they didn't remove the titties and it looks like all they did was make some bosses not die after their fight. If you are playing any game for their story you aren't playing a good video game. This was a 9/10 with the difficulty turned up way too much. I'm gonna bet that the difficulty decrease will turn this game into a 10/10.

The main reason people dogged on the game was that it had terrible performance for anything that wasn't a modern gpu/cpu combo and the Chinese were upset with the story shitting on their favorite dynasty.

Wuchang now heals from drinking the estus faster and you can cancel the animation of the estus with a dodge (a roll in souls) if you decide to stop drinking. Wuchang also has some iframes while getting up, which was a massive problem previously as sometimes a boss would drop you to the groud with an attack only to hit you as tyou were getting up with the later parts of the combo of the same attack that dropped you.
There have been some shrines (bonfires) moved around for faster rerun to bosses and the speed of elevators have been increased.

The game is set during the final years of the Ming Dynasty, the last dynasty before the Han invaders (Qing) became the rulers of china and started their dynasties.
The same is set on a very small province of China called Shu (Sichuan) in which some magic bird people settled and mingled with humans until they became assimilated into humanity.
The plot is about the last of the Ming dynasty trying to find a way into immortality (and thus preserving the dynasty against the invaders) by uncovering some magic of the bird people.
