To make it look more clean? Are they afraid i'll get lost in my game library on the game console meant to open my games at the press of a button? Have a panic attack and turn off the console? UI in general is going this direction and I hate it. Had to find an extension so my youtube subscriptions page would go back to showing me more videos than 6 giant thumbnails that take up most of my screen.
