I think this is what most people are missing. Most of the breakout success games were games that created a niche, or fell into a niche that was unfulfilled for years. But that alone was not enough, it also took years for some to take off, and a ton of luck.

TDK gone but Pitto arguably makes our midfield better and is in the prime of his career, and Reidy looks solid pick-up.

Silvagnis a big loss but Newman comes back in, and Ofarell looks an exciting long term defender. Kemp comes back into the side too, who can be a very good defender with his close down speed.

Mckay is more valuable to us than Curnow is, and bringing in Papley fills a small forward hole we've been crying out for.

Not to mention we're linked with some big names & could have great draft capital.

Jagga Smith could be an ashcroft/daicos level talent, regardless of those labels he's going to be a star and add speed & skill to our midfield.

I think its a pretty exciting time for the list and if cards are played right will have us in a strong position.
