So they buffed mercy.

The thing about games development is that experience is the number one separator between candidates.
There are so many game devs coming out these days that hiring departments just filter by experience when choosing candidates, regardless of what that experience is.
So even if you worked on a total bomb of a project in an important position, and may have even contributed substantially to it sucking, that experience sets you apart from tons of other potential candidates.

If you want to be a game dev anywhere, start at whatever shitty company will hire you to churn out slop and once you got some work experience there, you're going to jump up way higher because just having that means you're 'in'. Regardless of what games that company even made.
