Do you guys ever feel like Skill Points starved in this scenario? With how many skills they give you from balls, I end up with more skills to purchase, but less hints in something I truly need
I tried to optimize my runs and doing bare minimum (fans/race goals) and I can always win Unity finals because my team is always trained, meanwhile if I do even 2 more races than needed, I also end up resting and wasting precious turns, leaving my girls underleveled

Winning the big team race and exploding your balls helps. Riko gives you skill points but maybe that's why some are suggesting Tazuna on the side, as she also gives even more SP. I'm averaging about 1500+ SP at the end of a good run. Exploding balls and unity training can up SP as well, as can wit training especially cards with skill point bonuses

A lot of people are running Fuku AND Fine motion if you're gonna wit max. Fuku, Fine Motion, Kitasan, another speed, Rice/Creek for races where you need a heal, otherwise running more speed, power or trainer or wit cards.

I'm just saying I've never really seen a strong argument agaisnt Fine Motion other than her 0LB is...le bad. Which is the case for most SSRs.

I don't think she's the end all be all. You can get by with other wit cards no doubt.

Comparing her to other wit cards, the thing that stands out is she has a whopping 15% training effectiveness, and I'm not sure if you guys have noticed but that is extremely useful for Unity just to build stats in general. None of the other wit cards have that, and she's got great race bonus on top of that making it even easier to get more stats and skill points.

Asides from that though, all the other wit cards can do a similar job. However if you want that extra speed boost from Fall Runner, right now Fine Motion is the ONLY one to give it, or you could luck it from some G1 wins or something.

This (linked) is my best Aoharu Uma so far (she got Night Owl'd though).

My strategy is to weigh trainings based on what Umas are on them. +1 if it's a Uma under orange friendship, +1 for an Uma that has a white arrow and then I just pick the one with the most. I save my trvth nvkes for Speed and Power. Rainbows still take priority unless there's something very good on other facilities (like 3+ arrows vs a single rainbow)

If you access to more cards you can go to Graded League PvP matches, the cap is S+ ranks and above, but most people bring A and A+ horses.

If your card pool is limited or you are full F2P and just starting, you should aim for Open League where the cap is B and much easier to train, even if you have really badly trained umas you should still join because of the participation rewards, something is better than nothing. Once you're more comfortable change to Graded league and aim for B group and once you really know what you're doing, aim for Grade league group A.

Learn to use this site for all your training and to know what the skills actually do. Next PvP event is in 2 weeks from now, it's a Mile race Virgo cup (scroll down a bit), so you should train an uma that has good speed, power and wit and in 2 weeks enter her so you can race her against an opponent.

I estimate between now and then you can probably save up 15K carats as a conservative amount, maybe more like 20K depending on different factors. You'll be able to use uncap items as well to get her LB higher. But if you spark the banner you have a decent chance of getting 2-3 or maybe even more. Kitasan is probably the only MUST have at MLB right now. The other one at this time is the Riko card but you can manage with the MLB R version of it, then the rest of whatever you have.
obviously there are better cards than others, but you can usually just use a different good enough card and still get decent results. Whales will be whales, so don't worry about it too much.
