since the devs themselves barely understood how the game worked early on half the acceleration skills are useless, since acceleration only does anything (literally) if your uma hasn't reached her top speed. So generally, other than the rare instances where the skill by sheer happenstance manages to trigger exactly after your last spurt starts, it will literally do nothing (other than get you some TT points).
