Literally both sides of the spectrum are worse than the clubs here (no offense to /Uma/ club) because either you have the pressure of busting ass and the rat race to maintain S which is only getting to harder

OR the opposite end of the spectrum is you're struggling to find a club at all where you WISH you could be even in a B club where people trade enough shoes to get your club points.

The clubs here are full of funny laid back people and generally speaking the only requirement is to log in and do a career or two every other day. There's very little infighting, there's very little drama, if any at all, and most of it just boils down to shitposting or falseflagging in the thread itself. The clubs themselvese are self sustaining and full of nice and helpful people that just enjoy the game and wanna have fun.

Just made me realize I don't think a lot of us realize how good we have it right now. I'm not saying it's a utopia or anything, but we're all in a pretty good spot! Giving you 100 extra stamina. You are MORE than fine.

Now, if you want a back up ace, an easy one is Golshi. That way she wont clash with your pace style and she's insulated to debuffs. She's still very, very strong here.

Asides from that, I'd say consider a late surger like Rudolf or unironically Mejiro Ryan. You build them and Golshi the same way except you just put pump iron on them too, + rudolf can get dominator pretty easily.

I'm assuming you don't feel like building a front and I don't blame you, but that's an option too even if you don't have S. Maru, but you're probably better off with the dominator hybrid rudolf and Golshi or Ryan and Golshi.

I honestly don't know. It seems like a taboo subject. Everyone always suggests to run opposing styles so you don't block yourself, unless your fronts where you want to bring another front so your main one isn't alone.

I normally never see people run multiple paces, and I don't know if it's because of a myth or if it actually is worse than just running one pace. It can't be THAT bad though. Maybe worth testing out.

It's better to play it safe than to attract /v/ gooners/beggars/tourists. I wouldn't say people here are puritan, but rather "tasteful" about it, just like the game does.

Fiddling around with a training calc, I think Dober (SR) is underrated, she has 15 training effectiveness but no specialty so she has equal chances to show up in other trainings which makes her an opportunistic 'flex' with the random wit/energy bonus being welcome if it occurs. Her events are pretty good as well. Maybe worth trying for people that are more lacking in cards but have her.

I think people here want to keep it pure in the sense that they dont want the thread to devolve into yet another ERP fest or porndump thread, which we already have plenty of on /v/ as it stands.

These threads are shortlived, they go quick. We're not allowed to have them 24/7, so we have to make each minute count. It does provide a nice balance, and sometimes I wish we would go longer without having a thread up, but we burn through them pretty quick when an event is happening and jannies don't like the reoccuring discussion...so we keep it on topic not because it's the safe thing but because people genuinely want to use that time to discuss strategy and whatever is going in-game at the time. There's a lot of passion over CMs and racing as well

I've gotten into stupid arguments over stuff myself, but I've learned to mellow out in regards. We just have to remember to have fun and not be at each other's throats over petty things, but that's the nature of this place. Even if threads do devolve into stupid arguments, it's not worth taking seriously or getting upset about to begin with.

We're getting along fine right now, and I think having petty scuffles exhausts people and over time people learn that they shouldn't be even replying to certain kind of bait. I think compared to some threads, we're pretty good at NOT taking the bait and just ignoring shit, at least compared to the rest of the board when some of the most low effort shit will get a million replies.

Anyways yeah you can call me a retard who gets into dumb fights sometimes, it's true. Maybe it's just an ego thing, but I also don't think it's the worst thing either.
