Just to start with, test rooms are finals practice so if you're not somewhat optimal you're getting shit on

He's right tho, 200m isn't enough. Buff scaling is a thing. on most tracks, 200m is 8 seconds. On any course over 1600m, Tpulse will be capped by the race ending and won't get it's full duration. On Leo it lasts for 11 seconds but there's only 8 seconds of track when it activates, so you're missing out on 1.35 meters. On Gemini it lasted 16 seconds, which meant you lost out on 3.6 meters compared to any other earlier activating equal unique.

Tpulse "makes up for it" by being .45 when most uniques are only .35, but there are other .45s that outperform it when they activate.
Sky High Teio Step is .45
BTEDM is .45.
Prideful King is .45, but is also a 200 meter skill, so King Halo has the same issue as Oguri Cap.
Lights of Vaudville is .45

SHTS, BTEDM, and vaudville all have tricky conditions but the payoff is a whole meter advantage over other uniques.
