Team Dark is objectively the closest thing to what her original squad was about. Okay, first things first, I'll talk about Sonic CD since that's one of my favorite Sonic games next to Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic Advance as a whole. I know it's not really much to write home about, but it was great to pick up with when I tried it out for the first time. Stardust Speedway is pretty popular and I can vouch for that, but my other favorite zone to run laps with is Quartz Quadrant for that jazzy Present theme since it's a genuine bop for the JP soundtrack. The US soundtrack is underrated to me, since people mostly prefer Sonic Boom but Metallic Madness Bad Future, Wacky Workbench Good Future and Tidal Tempest both Good and Bad are my favorite ones. Wacky and Tidal weren't really my favorite zones to play on, and Collision Chaos I'm indifferent about since it's serviceable. Sonic CD's Special Stages is my favorite, I love running around to break the hovering ships to get a Time Stone while seeing the abstract backgrounds.

To me it's clear that Oshima was just an art guy and didn't know how to actually design a video game. There's something about the stages that I'm fond about despite some choices, and finding some of the Metal Sonic projectors at later stages can be a hassle sometimes, I can understand where you're coming from when it comes to stuff like that. It's not a perfect game, but it's definitely a game I'll replay on occasions to enjoy.

But the art style, the ost, those cutscenes are really amazing and that seems to be a thing with most Sonic games because while their gameplay could go for more, their soundtrack never misses because they tend to be so damn good.

I love Tails! I think he has a great design that is extremely adorable, I love how fluffy he is. I love his personality and his relationship with the other characters, particularly with Sonic. Sonic and Tails really feel like they have some soul bond, and their designs compliment each other as well. I like Tails being an inventor, and working on multiple things from vehicles to rockets to software programs, his inventions are great. I like his different workshops and houses. I love how sweet and polite he is, he makes me smile. I like how he's also afraid of things, but that doesn't stop him from taking action. I love how fast he is, how intelligent he is, and his flight
