I wonder how New Weapons Soldier is doing now that the newest of weapons are over 7 years old and the only good one, the Dragon's Fury, got nerfed into the ground for no reason.

Yes, the Second Banana is a good item, but I can hardly consider it new because it's just a Sandwich sidegrade, it doesn't offer a new experience to the player.
The Dragon's Fury gave players a whole new way to play the Pyro class, and was fairly balanced at launch. In exchange for heightened offensive firepower, the Dragon's Fury gives up the tremendous utility of spammable airblast, while being a far worse Spychecking tool. That's a fair trade-off. Undo the nerfs.
The other new weapons are a mediocre jetpack (you're way better off learning how to det jump), the gas passer, and the hot hand, which nobody uses because they suck.
It's like they realized they actually made an incredibly fun, well-balanced, powerful, satisfying weapon in the Dragon's Fury and immediately had to scale it back to match the mediocrity of the other JI weapons.

I would love to see a "trait stealer" knife, that upon backstab gives you temporary buffs and passive effects of whoever you killed.
Backstabbing a conch soldier gives you his health regen for 4 seconds. Backstabbing a battalion soldier gives you +20 max hp for 4 seconds. Any currently active banner effects (on any target not just the soldier) are copied for 4 seconds. Etc.
