I don't really care one way or the other. I don't need to feel "represented" in anything, although I do think a trans allegory fits incredibly well with the segasonic philosophy. Something like a game where sonic is helping an original new character who become his temporary partner (Think shahra, chip, merlina)
and throughout the adventure, And the entirety plot serves as a big metaphor for coming out, through the use of wacky level themes, enemies, and a fun black doom-like antagonist who embodies the idea of oppression and repression. And in the end, the final battle has sonic taking on your determination to be your truest self in order to transform into something cool, as you (in spirit) help him defeat the bad guy.

Sonic is all about helping the misguided heart, so a story about helping someone become be the truest version of themselves would be incredible imo.
