Each stack increases the duration by 1/15th of a second, bats don't come out any faster. On paper you can stack a lot of damage, but someone's going to knock you out of the sky.

if you have any hopes of getting stacks you're gonna need to stand right in the enemies' face and land all your shots as a late-game glass cannon with low mobility. Even then you will only gain stacks after you unlock your ult.
Just make sure not to die a bunch of times early on because then the enemy will be unstoppable and you won't be able to get any stacks at all. Fun, isn't it?

Ppreciate the feedback. I envisioned her as specializing in protecting someone (particularly from other close-range enemies), diving in to get them off her allies. The primary problem to solve with itemizing for her was intended to be mobility, to make sure she can either get to her allies to save them when playing support, or keep up when she's knocking them around if you go DPS.
With that and the raised points in mind, here's what I was thinking

I feel like those would still keep the mechanics and descriptions fairly simple while addressing the main issues at hand. I'll definitely think on it a bit more before I decide to possibly post it though.
