After getting completely tooled by the accelerated scheduling, refusing to provide more carats to compensate for the accelerated banners, spending effort to try and place in the Taurus Cup was worse than I had thought possible. My preparation was superior, my planning was superior, and I lost, so I don’t see a reason to continue engaging with this game mode, where what is within my control is overwhelmingly outweighed by what is not.

I am done with Uma Musume, and you won’t get a fond farewell. This game is infected to its roots with a degenerative diseases that grows stronger over time but stops short of killing its host. CM used to have a competitive sprit at their heart, this has been transplanted and replaced with an artificial organ that feeds on mediocrity and the debuffs from insecure F2P players that heckle by the sidelines as real gacha players tear themselves over scraps of any carats. The environment the developers fostered has trapped us all in a vicious cycle, and escaping it requires acceptance of the harshest reality we all scramble to explain away, that none of the countless straining efforts we put ourselves through here will ever amount to a single shining glimmer of significance. I would make this the end, but Gemini Cup is upcoming, and I would never leave so many great club mates out to dry, so I’ll suffer through a few more weeks for them.
