Now thanks to spear gun I can have gas and thermites, don’t have the same trash clear as a GL but they’re pretty easy to mow down with non stop gas and primary, and my primary is saving ammo since I just dome the bigger soft targets with a spear. Not great against the dragon but it’s okayish, far better than the GL at least. Actually liking the speargun a lot, even pairs well with eruptor or crossbow since I can just speargun close range targets.

Wrong, there is good in assault rifles. The only faction they are at a disadvantage at are bugs, and that's not really true for the libpen which is immensely popular for this reason. Adjudicator was one of the big winners of customization, as were the better half of the liberators. And while ARs can come up short vs bugs, all of them can solve squids and bots just fine. That's more than half of the game. Coyote is one of the strongest primaries, not just within its category.

Why is Adjudicator customization so overhyped? You make it have good recoil, and the ergonomics go to shit, 30 and below. Try the other way around, and it has shit recoil. Either way you need an armor passive to balance it out.
Some ARs are great vs. bots, Concussive has a niche against pedo bugs, but they all fall short compared to other categories in every faction. Shotguns are way better for all bugs, SMGs value speed which is crucial in this game, Marksman Rifles are best vs. bots, explosives are the best in general.

I know this much for a fact because a great deal of divers throw ergomaxxing out the window for the might of Eruptor. For me it's DCS, always has been. And Adjudicator is excellent with reduced recoil, there's nothing sweeter than tapping down a shitton of enemies half a map across with the least effort of aim and peak ammo efficiency. 30 ergo is workable. If you disagree that hard I'll just consider you too impatient for action and challenge based gayming.

It's a safe mode railgun with slightly more damage and explodes into a gas grenade. It's a utility support weapon, you get basically 13 gas nades and can destroy spawners from 100 meters away.

You can also save people from getting puke by bile titans or from ninjas charged by chargers and fleshmob since it has the biggest stagger force in the game. It has even bigger stagger than a direct 380mm impact. Its the only weapon capable of stopping Fleshmob mid charge.

if i take patriot to bots i just make sure to take shield backpack too since it does protect the mech to an extent. it can be very useful for marching directly into a base and dealing with all the armor all at once

We did it earlier without any real plans to kill one. As long as two people bring the eagle strafe and you have someone supplementing it with the 500kg or the RR (which both are fine to take on Oshaune too) you can crack the plate.
Heck, I was the focus on 'cc' if you can call just bringing along poison gas strike and arc tower cc focus. It's easier later after people call in their second backpacks because you can pickup someone elses supply pack/RR to assist.
I genuinely ended that bugger by just shooting the open plate alongside another anon shooting his gatling mech while I was in the car's HMG.
It's a fun kill, just time-consuming and resource-consuming.

Just fuck off from the fuel truck when you first start hearing/seeing it. You also want to all decide on a specific plate to shoot; second from the base is probably the best and my personal choice. It's high enough to have good lines of fire and not be obstructed by small hills, yet low enough that it doesn't squirm around a ton and can still be reached with thermites, hellbombs, and ultis.

Swegro coding. Just call it in, nobody wants to sit around the respawn screen for five minutes, better to just let them gamble with a stim and fall damage. Experimental stims are very important in caves for this reason.

Ergonomics is a very odd stat.
In practice, it only REALLY matters for extremely mobile, up close playstyles. If you're at any real range, or using a weapon you need to aim with anyways, it doesn't really matter. If you're regularly getting into fistfighting range, stimrun through enemies, or do shit like fire backwards with smgs, it's good, except if you're using a shotgun, or something like the torcher or blitzer, which aren't really precise enough for it to matter again. On shit like marksman rifles or the eruptor it honestly barely matters, unless specifically for the eruptor, you're running explosive resist to take it into melee.

It's a pretty narrow cross section of close range playstyles, with weapons that still care about shot placement, plus the eruptor if taken into melee specifically because of how low its ergo is standard, where ergonomics actually matter.
It IS a slight "free" advantage to ripping the scope off anything you don't ever actually use the zoom on, but shit like the angled foregrip is only ever really justified on like, the eruptor specifically, because it also doesn't care about recoil.

Orbital gatling does insane damage on big targets. AP5, 350 damage per hit with 300 rounds fired, which is 68,250 damage to the 5 armor plates (not accounting for all the misses). It can theoretically break its back armor in one barrage with extremely optimal placement and do tons of damage with hits to the mouth. If you can break its armor, it could realistically kill it with 3 REALLY good throws. You could probably speedrun it in 30 seconds if everybody on a squad brings one and you get fantastic RNG with its attacks.

That being said, strafe runs are more consistent because they concentrate fire on the lower segments where gatling barrage hits everywhere and may be wasted if the Hive Lord fucks off back underground a couple seconds after you throw it.

It's just goofy to me. I'm pretty sure they nixed the "4 people complete a mission containing 10 samples means 40 samples toward the MO" thing, but there's no real way to know.
If it does work like that, 1 million games need to be played on Oshaune every day for 14 days straight, assuming people are collecting like 15 samples a mission. (Averaging losses and eradicates and blitzes where it's more often that none are collected, and all the other stuff).

If it doesn't, that's still 250,000 missions a day for 14 days straight on one planet. XBONE numbers might make that easier, but it's clearly not feasible across multiple weeks in a busy month. It feels like a foregone conclusion that's only "winnable" by our Eastern friends (which may still result in a loss if AH decides they don't want that to count).

I don't feel like most MOs are rigged, but the sample MOs always bother me. It feels like they're just not doing any math on their side, they're just rolling a handful of dice to decide what people are going to throw themselves at.

Emancipators are great to have, but aren't the end-all.
FRV with a good driver can take you across the map and "reset" the map. Great for extract.

I'm getting aggravated at hive lords because pubbies will be drawn to it like moths to flames despite having loadouts that are jack shit for dealing with the hivelord and waste all of your reinforcements in minutes. They literally just tunnel vision the worm while ignoring the adds and ignoring the objectives.

Is there anything that's actually good at soloing or at least providing a disproportionate amount of effectiveness vs the hivelord that you can shoehorn into a build that still have acceptable performance in the caves? Strafing run seems like an mandatory inclusion to just dump damage into the lord, which is a shame since it is completely useless in the caves. The AC mech can do good damage to a plate, but you can't call in the strafe while in it. The type of weapon that you want flips once the armor plate strips off because the exposed flesh isn't durable and it's COMPLETELY IMMUNE TO EXPLOSIVES. I fundamentally dislike the idea of using the ATE for the hivelord fight since I feel like that's just asking for fate to suckerpunch the weapons moments after deployment. Maybe HMG? Napkin math says that one magazine does 15000 damage. But I haven't tried to calculate average ranges and expected damage dropoff. 3 mags of HMG would be 45,000 damage, so you can get close to the 150,000 hivelord HP with a few resupplies. Resupply backpack could make that happen easier and synergize with the cave portion of the build.

I tried doing napkin math with the autocannon in flak mode too. I don't know how to best estimate the amount of flak hits. It spawns 30 flak pieces. I tried estimating maybe 40% hit the wall of the hivelord's flesh if you magdump him in flak mod. With 60 rounds total, that's up in the 78k damage range. But you'll need to spend more time pausing to reload than with the HMG.

I think Mechs should just be a single stratagem that you can customize the arms for. They already won't let you bring more than one, so it would be more interesting. Plus, they could start selling individual arm parts (left and right not interchangeable).
Also, the dive button isn't in use when piloting one, so there's potential for a third utility slot on an exosuit. Maybe for a mobile resupply pack, deployable temp shield bubble, hell maybe even a timed hellbomb or a thruster pack for quick forward movement.

Each armor plate has 15000 hp. IIRC an EAT does 2000 damage. Maybe 2500. I can't remember. It's less than 3000 either way. The hivelord as a whole has 150k hp, and damage to a plate only passes 10% of damage through to the main hp pool.

The meta way to kill them is to concentrate firepower on one plate to destroy it, and then focus fire the exposed flesh. Said exposed flesh is 100% immune to explosive damage because realism.

I'm so fucking tired of retards death looping 20 times just randomly fighting shit in the middle of nowhere so when it comes time to actually raise the flag or nuke the hatchery, they've bleed all the reinforcements and now them dying means that we don't have enough DPS to kill the fucking bugs, and I can't even carry them through it because dropping an orbital means you have to get off the objective and resets the progress.

general brasch even tells you in the tutorial, there is literally no way to avoid friendly fire casualties, now get out there and kill any teammate unwise enough to sit on the machine gun
there is no way to "learn" to drive, the vehicle ultimately has a mind of it's own and WILL flip at random and explode, just don't gun it everywhere
