Currently working on the Zephyr Continent (listed as Area F in the editor) in Ghost Path 2.
After translating quite a few games, I feel the need to express my love for how well-organized Hakika's internal filing is. Like, Random Dungeon and Zakuzaku were everywhere and painfully hard to look through to find anything I missed, and B. B. Rider had its quirks, but Erra Saga, Silver Tower, and now Ghost Path 2 are just great to work in.

I didn't like her too much at first but she's grown on me quite a bit. How did you guys feel about her? I feel like she could be the least popular main heroine if some people don't like that kind of personality.

The Japanese fanbase called her kludge's best girl, until Olivia got added. Olivia, Kuu, Dita and Vyner are the most popular characters from kludge, by far. Personally I liked her a lot since I'm a sucker for tsunderes, but I think both her and Kuruha are tied for the weakest main girls in the series. They both have this problem where the game they're supposed to be the main character of barely focuses on them. Rabi has this problem in blight too, but it's more tolerable since the entire party helps push the plot forward and Rabi is the one that keeps the team together in the first place. I don't think it's nearly as odd as how Kuruha or Dita were handled, and Dita's involvement with the plot is especially weird when hakika made colony right beforehand. That game is unequivocally Auris's story, through and through, and everyone else aside from Lestea is just a side character.

NTA, but I found the cast to be not too memorable in the overall sense of the story. The Kuu/Yol stuff discovered in the end was a bit of much needed characterization, but felt a bit too little too late.
Yubeil was also cool with our history with her, but short hair sucks, sorry.

The best one early on is the cow, you can actually get her right after the tutorial too. The dragon is also quite good, but gets hard countered by some fights in Ovitri. As soon as you unlock genesis stone skills in the postgame, the Unidentified and mimic are the two best damage dealers in the game.

I think take all these rankings with a grain of salt, I've seen his other videos and he uses Fiede, dragon, scylla and mimic girl for damage dealers. He used mimic girl for the final superboss of the game too. Just be careful of boss spoilers if you do look at his other IR videos though.

The safest damage dealer to max out first is the unidentified, she’s the best damage dealer in the game next to the mimic girl. Maxing out the robot knight is also a great idea because of passive where she covers anyone if she’s over 80% hp. But also bear in mind that you can really use whoever you want, there are multiple strategies available in this game. For example, the lamia and snow woman are very good in Ovitri since lots of the bosses are weak to ice. And in Unelma’s dungeon, you’ll need to make up party comps on the fly because of the gimmick there.

The best way as far as I know is a combination of the Immerse skill from Ino's support tree, Elixirs of Extinction that you can get deep into Ovitri (kinda grindy to get a lot of, though there are a bunch of freebies in the dungeon), and the Calamity Star Staff's passive 10 TP regen per turn (+15 TP per turn for the +1 version from Ovitri). The War God Bangle isn't too worth it since it's only 5 TP per turn, but you can use use it if you want. Sage's Mantle unfortunately doesn't affect TP regen from equipment or skills, just the gains from attacking or being attacked.

It’s a great game, don’t get me wrong, but I felt like it was missing a little something compared to the average Sequel game. Probably because we didn’t get enough banter between the two sisters. Outside of the h-scenes, at least. The short game length compared to hakika’s other works is also a pretty big blemish for me.
Otherwise, yeah. It’s a really good game. Definitely one of the better horror RPGM games out there, and definitely BTFOs the average indie horror schlock that’s released nowadays.

Gameplay is tower defense.
Plot is usually simple adventuring fighting back against human poachers and knight invaders that are invading the island for personal gain like trafficking monster girls or wanting to take treasures and resources.
Characters? It’s actually the game that SEQUEL would have one of the easiest Collabs with because the cast from Monmusu TD are about as wacky as the girls from Awake. Actually more.
The MC is a human adult shota that woke up in Gespen Island’s shore nearly suffocating and then spitting out the tiny Goddess Vivace. Some monster girls arrive and offer help but as nearby they are fighting poachers (some with traps like really obvious bait with a rope) and that’s how you are introduced to them.
But the island is separated in factions, a cute boy could throw everything in disarray so while Succubi encourages you to socialize and everyone get to rape you senseless, hardliners like a dragon girl argue back that it would bring chaos, it should be controlled like a limit of 3 ejaculations per day etc.
This is usually the formula where you explore a new or older portion of the island, being introduced to the local monster girls fauna that is in trouble by invaders or some experiment gone wrong.

The crossover with MGQ Paradox is actually recognized as canon with then referencing its events in Part 3 during a passing mention

Some people have been using Luna translator instead much like how they do with MGQ Paradox Part 3
Some (like me) use Bepinex since the DMM launcher runs on Unity. It has some faults like the dialogue box being limited to the amount of characters meaning I have to Page Up all the time to check the Log as it works then.

It seems Luna is better though? An anon was comparing translations said it felt like the Bepinex cut context somehow (I assume among the mistakes it does it also includes the honorifics)

In MMTD, classes are decided by weapon, Rabi's a Monk, Nazuna's a Samurai, Tirma's a Paladin, Maria's a Berserker, and Nyx is a Warlock.

The Monk class gets an on deploy bomb effect basically dealing massive damage where ever they're dropped on the field.
Samurai's have the ability to shoot Getsugas after charging up a sword release ability.
Paladins, Berserkers, and Warlocks are more basic, being tank, melee DPS, and ranged DPS respectively. It's more a question of what they'll get as their active cooldown skills and passives.

Upon looking into it more, I think it's just on hakika's part, since he uses a custom icon set for the MZ games (pic related) and there are more than a few unused icons. I don't think hakika made these icons, so probably what happened is that he didn't want to make edits of them for each and every weapon. He has been hiring a sprite artist for the characters lately though, I think he can afford to do weapon icons again with their help.

H-game collabs are pretty civil and organized about having sex staying between original partners. The scene progression is kind of odd though. The lead-up to the scenes has the character doing something random with the Monmusu TD protag (you can tell, since they call him Goshuujin), but after that, it'll cutaway to the girl with Mana Tank. The h-scene itself has no spoken dialogue from him either, just like how it is in SEQUEL.
Anyway, rest assured, there's no NTR or whatever. The girls are platonic towards the Monmusu shota. Tirma even mentions she already likes someone else (obviously Mana Tank).

Crossovers can literally just be a single conversation between industry people. Kingdom Hearts occurred of an elevator talk because Disney and Square Enix shared an office building. In regards to Japanese crossovers, it's a lot to do with Kadokawa, Aniplex, and Kodansha being heavily inter-connected. DMM also fits very snugly with them which causes some crazy collabs in niche gachas you've never ever heard of.

The world of SEQUEL reflects that, with a good portion of the scenario as you distance yourself from the home base being ravaged or desertified. Everything needs mana. And most things would kill for mana.

The cost decrease is actually because, well, every Event Girl gets that in their associated event. It's so you can use them in their own events more easily.
The periodic health decrease is probably going to be a pain if you're starting out though. But if it'd help you, once you level up Rin the Slime enough, to Level 30+ IIRC (or any orb-based Healer, but Rin is from the prologue so you will be guaranteed to have her), they will gain the passive ability to provide a map-wide regen buff so long as they're on the field. It's not a ton of health recovered from it, but it will help offset the damage you take, and as long as you have people who need it by the healer like the tanks then it should be fine.

You can swap her weakness at any time by using the Special command with someone. Yolnaya Wild Life + Charge + High Fury with a light damage part and Plamia Hearts equipped is the strat, you can also use the barbarian lunch before the fight to increase your crit chance and possibly oneshot her.
Do the Mechagod ruins if you haven't yet as well, it increases the level cap to 150. 99 is plenty enough for Idea, but she's still pretty tough at 99, so going higher will make it easier.
You can bind on turn 1 with Dita, drop defenses to 0 with Grim Torture, then use the special command on turn 3 to swap her weakness to physical just in time for Yolnaya to attack.

Oh, now that's interesting. The Machine is not described in detail, but it is mentioned to "still be moving", if that would matter. I was under the impression that someone might have been trying to do a repeat of Dire's circumstances (use a mana source to power a mechanical weapon, take two), but this individual could provide an explanation as to how the group has gotten here in the first place, and the two situations wouldn't be mutually exclusive in any case anyway.

While I hadn't been paying attention to it at the time, much less playing it, from looking back in the archives I was able to see that in MGQ's original collaboration event, the event actually came with a bonus one after the second half, which was how you originally obtained Rami (The Imp Girl) prior to the reruns simply adding her to the main event's shop. They did not do anything like this for the second or third one, but as this is SEQUEL's own original event, then it could very well be a similar situation.

Ah I understand now; that’s not a glitch. The Minotaurs will only show up within the depths of the Labrynth, a bonus dungeon scaled for endgame levels that is home to the strongest monsters on the island: the original members of their species who (whether by choice or otherwise) did not evolve into Monster Girls. Defeating them is how you obtain the materials necessary to craft any given Monster Girl’s signature weapons, and completing certain challenge runs will reward you with tablets that can be used to craft special legendary abilities.

The Minotaurs are particularly infamous among them, in large part due to the power of their charge. While not engaged in melee combat, Minotaurs will start blitzing across the battleground at breakneck speeds, and they will only stop once someone is able to first block them and then is able to survive the follow up attack. But due to their size, Minotaurs can only be blocked by anyone who has a block count of three or higher.
If any Monster Girl (or Human Girl, or any other sort of ally) who does not have a block count of at least three is standing in front of a charging Minotaur, the result is the Minotaur INSTANTLY killing them by way of running them over with such force that they are literally punted straight off the map and knocked into the sky. And they will do this to everyone who isn’t standing on high ground out of their path until someone who can survive is able to actually wall them. The only exceptions are Monster Girls who can fly (which is why I don’t normally struggle with them myself outside of challenge runs as I almost only ever use Harpies). They will also knock away anyone who is mid-movement or who has hit the maximum block count and can’t block anyone else; if there is more than one Minotaur and the dedicated wall is currently holding back five skeletons, they’re getting bowled over anyways.

Nyx doesn't have any healing abilities, but she does have an absurd attack debuff for everybody that gets in her range. To be honest, I think she might actually have one of the strongest attack debuffs in the game, because it scales off of 60% of her own attack, like the bard debuffs do, except unlike them she's a high-powered sorcerer so she actually has a massive attack to abuse it with and her signature weapon gives her a +40% attack buff with an almost constant uptime. I think that's why her range is so gimped, honestly, as she has one of the shortest ranges of sorcerers too.
Don't underestimate Suzu just because she's a starting girl though. You would be surprised at the sheer amount of single target DPS she's capable of at higher levels.

Going into this having been told by many about how "their world is teetering on the brink and exists in perpetual danger, but even in the face of world-ending catastrophes the girls remain obliviously happy", it seems like Dire is actually echoing that exact same sentiment and is trying to use it to help Nazuna and Maria cheer up. Rabi/Nyx/Tillema remain optimistic and upbeat while beating down the enemies, but Maria and Nazuna are on edge, Maria being more agitated and on-guard while Nazuna's actually tense and worried. It seems like whatever their original interaction with Sybilmel was like, the thought of it having come back angers the former and haunts the latter.

Apparently it's Anti-Life and not just Anti-Mana, because it fled here to escape to a mana-less world because mana destroys it, but then discovered the life energy ("vitality") of the inhabitants here was painful for it to be around anyways so it started just sucking it up with a machine.
......well, this sort of idea of a creature who's mere existence is antithetical to the order of life IS the kind of thing I was hoping for from the No-Life King that fucking utter disappointment so I guess I'll play whatever this was from. It was Awake, right?
