>The main problem is that most people are stupid. The reason people aren't dropping off LLM's in droves is because people are gullible, retards who will try to outgreed each other without thinking much about their choices.
yeah, and those startup company kids competing with each other to sell shit to the gullible people
those kids are smart and highly motivated to be good snake oil salesmen, and they'll keep it going as long as possible, lol

>most people these days aren't even that literate about the specific AI technologies, they just lump everything in as AI.
yes, very true
"AI" is not only a misnomer, but also misleading as an umbrella term, and i think the big LLM companies use that to their advantage
the less people understand the (fairly simple) technology, the more they see it as magic, the longer they can keep the circus going
>idk much about neutral networks, but there was apperently another type that had better reasoning skills than LLM's. I forgot the video though.
i would be interested if you happen to find it :o
>Maybe even if LLMs lose. The billion dollar AI data centers won't be in vain and will just replace LLMs with those things, but idk how it works. so I can't really tell
i think it's definitely possible, i guess it just depends on how things go
i hope all that hardware gets used for something atleast, and doesn't just get scrapped
perhaps some of it will be sold if any of the datacenters get dismantled, and people like us will have access to super cheap GPUs and shit
