Caine abstracts just before we see his connection to the Caine and Abel corporation.. With him gone, there's nobody to keep the circus in check. The inmates have to contend with a world of infinite possibilities that is going increasingly haywire, including all the NPC guys. All that is, except for one. One has been secretly watching all along, since even before Caine arrived. Along the way, we learn that Kinger's human created the circus, they're all just digitized code, and code can't escape the software. They have to make the best of it and warn anybody else before they put on the headset. But the watcher guy commands all the NPCs to stop that from happening at all costs. There's a fantastic climax, and /co/ btiches about it for the next 11 years.

No one knows he attempted to force himself on her before she abstracted and he feels very guilty over it still. Someone awhile back asked Goose if Jax ever takes his clothes off and Goose only says “he tried”. Jax’s attempt at raping Ribbit fell short cause they can’t have sex in the Circus but the experience still traumatized Ribbit into abstracting. Plus Rabbits are horny mother fuckers who over populate if given the chance.

Cheesy mostly happy ending where things aren't okay but the group is together and starting to heal. Jax is still something of an outcast but he's choosing to try and be kinder and happier. They never escape the circus. The stinger is either a new character showing up or Caine letting them have sex.

What I think will happen: everyone abstracts or gets out of the game except Jax. He's the only one left. He has a mouth and nobody to talk to.

They figure out they are all virtual copies, they stay but in control of the world. Abstracted go back to normal. Pomni has a grand wedding with Gummigoo. Jax and Ragatha hold hands and everyone lives happy ever after

I can imagine some false hope grim ending where it seems like they escaped the Circus, and the ending is mostly their real selves going about their regular lives, and then the final shot of the show is something that subtly still implies they're trapped.

Something weird I've noticed in episode 5. In the bar scene, Ragatha says that she's sure her mother doesn't miss her.
If you think about it this is a bit of a weird thought to have when you're a digital copy of a real person who (as some theorized) put on a weird headset, got their brainwaves copied without them even knowing, put the headset down and walked away. If there's a "real" Ragatha out there, then why would digital Ragatha assumes she's missing too?
This can means a few things
>Ragatha is tech illiterate and doesn't know (or doesn't want to confront) her existence as a copy. She was raised on a farm, which could point to her being unfamiliar with technology (especially sci-fi tech like the Circus), but she was at some point working in real estate, I doubt she was a total country bumpkin.
>The headset works on Tron rules and physically remove the body of whoever's wearing it from the real world, and there may be a way for the players to get it to spit them out

In general it bothers me that we never see Pomni actually enquires the nature of the Circus and its origins. Even if the others characters are as clueless as her (well, except Kinger) it feels pretty convenient for the incoming drama. At least have a explanation about how the other players refuse to think too hard about the program they're in because that's exactly the kind of reasoning that lead to hoping for a way out and eventually abstracting

Cane is too afraid of rejection to punish the guests in any meaningful capacity. In episode 4 gangle asks him to have a punishment ready at the end of the day for employees that do a bad job, and he even agrees it's a good idea and that motivation is what his adventures have been lacking, but once the adventure ends everyone's rank is a B+ (kinger doesn't count) so everyone's a winner and noone gets punished.

Hell, he even gives gangle the choice to up her score by lowering someone else's, which might imply the character with the lowered score could get punished, but the point is that caine is incapable of doing that on his own, he has to make it pass as gangle's choice/responsibility, and even then I bet if there was a punishment it would be something silly like sending them to their rooms (which is what they would do anyways).

When is the full advertising video?

It turns out that "The Committee" has actually been voting on a replacement for Caine, which is why he never got any votes. Effectively, they want to create a Human/AI consciousness that can be duplicated and reused, but they need to find someone whose psyche is stable enough to survive the process. The objective is to finally expand the Circus out into the void, which effectively amounts to an online MMO style release.
Eventually, they choose their successor and after essentially matyring her, the game is rebranded with a new ringmaster as Pomni's Digital Circus.

With everyone else finally getting around to bettering themselves Jax is left almost abstracting because his "Archetype" shtick backfired drastically on him. When no one, not even Gangle gives Jax the time of the day and everyone has "broken out of their Archetypes" Jax will double down and do something worrying to keep the status quo in check for his own safety
The Gangle harassment will get worse, the mocking of Zoobles sexual orientation will increase, Ragatha's character will see assassination attempts, Pomni will be avoided and Kinger's sanity and Wife will be insulted, all until morale improves

Jax's entire deal is that he's been hurt by people and events in his past and deliberately trying to keep the others hating him because it's the only way he's figured out how to keep the pain away. He doesn't want to feel the loss another and I'm sure he doesn't want them to feel bad if he goes. That's all it is. But, His entire plan about fitting into archetypes and stereotypes and pretending to be the cool funny guy has actually backfired on him. He can't escape his emotions and feelings and he knows it. He probably hates how he makes the others feel but in his mind he's gone too far to turn back and no one would trust him, anyway, even if he even wanted to change.

Keep in mind that Kinger's line about computer science is "seven years in computer science for THIS". Why else would he say that while stuck in a video game if he didn't have some hand in making it.

As everyone starts rebelling against the program, Caine loses control of his own self and starts glitching and dissolving into the codex beyond everyone's control. The elaborate code of the circus starts to tear itself open and de-territorialize, corrupting every last piece of what it once was until it starts to approach pure noise. Everyone gets abstracted, but here's the thing: nobody truly dies. Because the erroneous noise of the codex also happens to destroy the centralized, abstracted blob that connects and meshes all of these eyes together. It's ironically the only thing that helps the blob escape from its own attachments and bring forth forms and identities, because it itself is an abstracted organism that can only be compatible with a more abstracted environment without getting caged into the depths below.
It breaks itself free.
All the corruption and de-codified noise around it slowly starts to re-codify (realistically it would be beyond our comprehension, but this is a cartoon). Each segment of this blob happens to pull itself apart and converge in many different ways, pooling into more organized identities that have their own memories and personalities of what once was. But it also synthesizes new organisms that are completely different than anyone who lived in the circus. Some things get cancelled out and dissolve, but only out of the pure succession of organisms would they ever survive and have the most control over themselves within this abstracting environment. Some organisms that come out of this act like two characters at the same time, with others it would be too difficult to tell where they came from.
This brings a new order into the digital world, and something more beautiful comes out of it. The abstraction process is undergone, and now there's a new plane of existence with new organisms that will have their own lives and their own beautiful movements and complexities. Through annihilation brings forth the new.

TL;DR we're introduced to Rose Quartz as a kind alien who chose to rebel against her empire to protect earth and humans and who loved humans so much she gave up her life to have a human son. Everyone speaks fondly of her and she's upheld as a sort of golden standard for her son to strive for. As we see more of her through flashbacks and how the other aliens who rebelled with her talk about Rose, we see more flaws coming out, like how despite her loving humans she kind of treated them as play things. Finally we find out she was one of the rulers of the evil alien empire and she defected with a false identity and faked her own death, but her actions resulted in a war that got a lot of aliens killed or mutated. Up until the war with the empire goes south, it's implied that she's not taking any of it as seriously as she should be and that was a turning point for her, but right up until her death she's a very complicated character who never becomes the perfect specimen she's remembered as.

Which, went to shit real quick because the diamonds then blasted the planet and caused a bunch of trouble for the remaining gems and fucked up history in general in that world.

Pink diamond spend the rest of her days are her fake persona trying to help, discover the world and enjoy her new life but the weight of all the bullshit she did to get to that point would eventually come back to her and her remaining friends. All of which unfolds throughout the show and to top it all of she's not even the one's experiencing the repercussions, it's her son who she had at some point down the line and now gets blamed of pretty much every fault she did in her past life because "technically" he is her when he is his own person but with part of her.

Hard to say. I think Pomni was just assuming that it would be part of the roleplay and was surprised when he was OK with her shooting him. But maybe that revealed to her that he just doesn't care about anything, even winning. She could understand him easier if he was just an asshole who wants to control and win all the time. But the fact he didn't want to do what she just assumed he would undermined this model she had of him that allowed her to engage with him on more even grounds.

It's kind of like how Gon in Hunter x Hunter get so upset at seeing Pitou heal Komugi, it's the exact opposite of the stereotype of the bad ants he had and being confronted with that undermined a concept he was attached to that comforted him (that the bad ants were just monsters that need to be killed).
