>"Madogiwazoku" is a Japanese term literally meaning "the tribe that sits by the windows". It refers to employees in a company who are no longer needed but cannot be easily fired due to legal or social constraints in Japan. They are often given a desk by the window, symbolizing their limited or non-existent contribution to the company's work. This practice is a result of Japan's strong tradition of lifetime employment and strict labor laws, making it difficult to terminate employees.

Every day my boss eats an entire 450g block of cheese.
We're an open plan office. I can see his desk from mine. AT 10 AM sharp every day he takes a block of cheese from his bag, still sealed in the wrapper, cuts it open with a pocket knife, and just starts taking pieces off with his fingers and munching on them like a fucking crab. By 6 PM he's shaking the last pieces out of the package. He doesn't even refrigerate it, he certainly doesn't even remove extra packaging and just reaches further into the plastic wrap, and there hasn't been a single day since I started working there that he hasn't done this.
Why is this allowed?
I always had an idea in the back of my mind to transmit data through audio cables. Like get two m/m audio extension cables, plug one end of one cable into the speaker port for one PC and the mic port for the other, then do the opposite with the other cable, then you can output sound directly from one PC to into another, and with some modulation you can send data.
I wonder if there's a potential $1b business in this.

With Audio, you have an infinitely high Entropy. Just by changing the volume alone you have a theoretically infinite number of volume levels that could represent infinitely long series of bits. Literally all you have to do is change the volume of some white noise and pre-arrange what the different volume levels mean through an NFT specifying the cryptographic key and have transfer rates higher than previously humanly thought possible.

Nevermind already exists. Would be cool it interweave it through music without anyone but the listener picking it up. But then you have encryption to worry about or possible EW. Interesting Idea since EW works against RF/Radar but it might not work against Audio.

>Would be cool it interweave it through music without anyone but the listener picking it up. 1- for what use case
a. why do you think EW considerations don't apply to mechanical wave perceptible audio
i) this already happens and people have drawn images with sound visualizers by interleaving audio at such a rate that listeners don't hear the difference but spectrum analyzer visualizrs can show it

Alot of the RF principles apply so hitting the books or atleast buying equipment to fuck with would be the first move. Programming would be more CS grad main stay.
Honestly the anon that brought this up is on to something. I wonder if the navy does this with sonar like ocean version of Skyking threads in /pol/.
Computers just use bits right? It's 1 or 0. What if the 1 or 0 corresponded to a switch being on or off... But we also turn that switch using a laser beaming at a light sensor. Literally speed of light transmissions. And as cheap as a laser pointer and a solar panel. Is there some reason this wouldn't work or did I just stumble on a trillion dollar idea?

Do you travel? What do you do when you take time off?

>>105728791>I wonder if the navy does this with sonar like ocean version of Skyking threads in /pol/.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underwater_acoustic_communication
every day i am worried that ignorant techbros want to keep us perpetually trapped in a cold war era level of technology because they are not only not aware that anything further exists but are scared of anything more because they do not even understand the 60s shit and think the WWII innovations are cutting-edge today
>>105728762Basically you can either fire and forget like UDP protocol or you can .FLAC it like TCP. However TCP is a hand shake protocol so both sides would have to communicate.
This however would likely be used for military or civilian security operations as a one way send. So you would interweave it in music UDP style and fill in the dots for missing info. If you want more detailed data to go through you would have a TCP format for the hand shake but would require 2 way communication. All similar concepts to RF but I am not in that industry so my info is very basic.
>>105728798We use both light, lasers and IR for fiber optic.
I bought a 4k OLED for $1,200.

>>105728791>will there be EW counter measures.
>>105728835Its not as bad as it was 10 years ago. Besides if its for productivity like your computer then you will get your value out of it in 5 years or less.
>>105728831What if we made a laser shoot out normal light instead? Wouldn't it be cheaper?
>>105728835Burn is a myth I take zero precautions and it hasnโt happened
>>105728831>So you would interweave it in music UDP style Techbros knew that they could not change the fundamental aspects of data transmission. So instead of reflecting on themselves, they introduced noise and blamed packet loss.
I guess I can't even be mad. Were I to start a cult, it'd have been one that revels in and brings the noise
>>105728824What does that have to do with the post you responded to?
>>105728804When I was still in, I lost a a lot of leave days by simply not taking them. Turns out when everyone is a retard and taking a day off means getting blamed for every fire that broke out while you were gone is not conducive to taking leave in confidence and good faith.
>>105728798Why use lasers? You could use a wire and just turn the electricity on or off to do the same thing.
>>105728859Yes but military applications on the field of battle would make that way to fucking obvious and harder to point. With RF you get semi directional data sent to an object but everyone can pick it up. With laser, light or IR everyone can see. With RF you can EW.
With sound you are much more limited on range but for sounds that are hard to determine like infrasound you could send the data with no one noticing its being sent. You would still have to worry about encryption. With directional sound you could make it alot harder to capture this data but if your trying to send a drone swarm then it would be a pain in the ass.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrasound
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directional_sound
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_frequency
All of this tech already exists and but its wide application to a market that might want it does not.
>>105728939Wouldn't it be slow if you can only transmit one bit at a time though? You'd need a lot of wires to get an acceptable speed.
>>105728961I tried to write a troll post but your own is too stupid yet too believably a techbro thinking he's stumbled on something new. There isn't a reasonable way to approach your post because of how unreasonable it is -- these technologies DO already exist, ARE the foundation of modern communications, and yet your understanding of the field is so woefully out of date and utterly boneheaded that you are less technologically equipped to say anything useful than a medieval battle march drummer
>>105728693Was it worth it for the name on your resume and career boost?
>>105728850Joking but I have a concern that Infrasound or standard audio and visible light spectrum will be EW so you could block out actual spectrums or color and frequencies of sound.
>>105728999Yes dumbass I know we already have this tech in the space but it is not filling a niche it could. That is the key factor here. No one has really tried to apply this to the battlefield in any meaningful way. The sooner you dismiss an idea the dumber you look. >>105729147Most of these concepts already exist. The application and the method of transmission through the audio spectrum has to be figured out. Encryption or bust honestly. They are already using fiber optic drones why not make it audio through infrasound or some directional sound method. So long as its secure transmission you can effectively have control over data transmission. All of this is theory for how it will work but it has to be tested.

>>105726416I get bonuses for joining meetings and spreading common sense like Khaby Lame.
>>105729746Yes to retransmit the data you would need something similar. In networking you would use a signal booster if the data cannot reach a certain point. It is dumb so it does not retain any data if you are cheap you use a media converter to do the same.
This metal diaphram might have to be tuned to the audios tone/tune or whatever the proper term is to retransmit it. If an attacker uses the same tone it can make it ineffective. But it would build nodes essentially in a network. If it stores and forwards it then it would suseptiable to hacking attempts but it would determine if its the right data coming in from the right person. Surely there is a way to build this network with previous concepts found in both RF and Networking.

I've learnt next to nothing in the past 3 years and now I'm just like them. I do the bare minimum, I don't try anymore, and I have zero will to do any coding or learn anything on my free time.
I know I have to get out of here, specially because I want more money, but the willpower I need in order to start putting some hours and learning new shit simply isn't there anymore. When I'm done I'd rather do anything but coding.
