Murder isn't fun because it'll stay on your conscience and even if it's legal like being in the army when you're in a firefight you'll suffer PTSD. I'm stuck in a role where I have an overambitious VP and a yes-man boss. How do I cope? They keep asking me if the impossible can be done and every time I say no, they'll accept it and then bring it back in the next month or so. The team we work with are also whiny office political assholes. Anytime I get a project in a working state, my VP looks at it and says, can we actually change this so it does "x,y,z,a,b,c" and I'm like "No, the system doesn't allow for that." Most local masters degree programs in my area are 20-30k. You make so little that staying with them for either 1 masters or 2 masters would be worth it. Besides internal promotions are possible with masters degrees. Think of it like getting paid 130k with the benefits they give you and a possible promotion path. Either way weigh out your options you are really low paid so taking college for free would be imo worth it. But i would maximize it by doing the degree in half the time to max out their college benefit and reduce the amount of time you are stuck with them.
