There are people who inflate their steam numbers for the lulz, by running the game on several devices at the same time. Or at least that was a thing in the past as maybe steam has patched that by now. Basically they let their devices run even even though they did not use it and that pumped the stat that shows how much time they spent playing. Just imagine some office worker having access to 30 laptops noone uses and he runs the lowest resolution possible and stays only on the main screen on tf2, and that counts every 2 minutes spent in the game as an hour, as it's multiplied by 30. As for the scattergun, you can just join a server where bots spawn in front of you then you can just run a custom program that inputs the left click of your mouse once every 2 seconds. Then that pumps your kill stat.

I loved it, an incredible ludo experience. The story was great, everything connected and all characters linked. I loved how you start out as fucking losers but end up tackling all the main threats to BG, resolving like 3 different end of the world scenarios at the same time.
My favorite characters are Lae'zel, Gale and the Emperor. I also noticed that Larian still likes to include DMPC Mary Sues in each game, almost feels like a joke at this point (Dame Aylin, Isobel, Malady).

You are right, but the flip side of that is that the victim was an 88 year old man who was already in poor health and didn't die directly from the result of his injuries, so it would have extremely difficult to get any kind of murder/manslaughter charge to stick.

The main problem is that the UK is very reluctant to put people in prison at the moment because we are at almost 100% capacity and have no more space for prisoners. It's gotten so bad that the government is actually shortening prison sentences to free up space.
