DoTO while standalone had to recycle assets from Dishonored 2 to be viable, because Dishonored 2 was expensive and it didn't make back the money spent, so they didn't have the ability to sent the player elsewhere.
And after killing the Outsider, the void didn't disappear and they are free to show how the world changed with the void untamed, that was part of Deathloop, to show how a more technologically advanced society would harness the void.
Personally I would also have preferred other stuff but the developers probably wanted to go on a more distinct direction after working many years on the Dishonored world with a steampunk aesthetic and a marked gameplay style, Deathloop allowed them to change that while also calling back to their previous works to retain their fanbase.
Now what I want to really know is if the Blade game will actually happen because apparently the movie fell off, I'm scared that Microsoft might just close down the studio because they would have to start creating a game from 0 after that, although if they haven't closed it down yet maybe they are already working on something.

Paris was surprisingly good. Since I was in the city for just one day I just had time to see some of the typical spots (Tour Eiffel, Notre-Dame, Tuileries garden, walking by the Seine river and the Pantheon, which I guess it's a wet dream for every French chud).

I really liked the buildings and how monumental everything was, I also perceived a decent safety despite the incidents of the last decade. It was packed with blacks, also pajeets and Asians to a lesser extent. There were incredibly few nafris than expected, I guess they're on holiday in their home countries.

The people I interacted with (waiters and tourist info staff) weren't rude as people say, but helpful and nice despite their broken English (unfortunately I just remember few French words from when I was in high school, which I always tried to use just for a matter of respect).

Parisians have a unique and different sense of fashion from what I'm used to see. Girls are cute and stylish, both the native and ethnic ones and very close to the stereotype I had of them. Everyone vapes.

Bad things? Metro was old and smelly and you're charged with 15 euros just for entering the airport.
