there are two organizations called "the entity", The Entitiy/La EntitΓ and the Entity Special Operations Group (ESOG)/Gruppo Operativo Speciali della EntitΓ (GOSE)
La EntitΓ is an intelligence agency operating out of the Vatican that oversees the Inquisition, they've been around since the original Inquisition but the SI has revitalized them, operations have been centralized and the Society of St. Leopold was recanonized and brought into the fold of the wider Catholic war on vampirism
ESOG/GOSE are the group that actually shows up in bloodhunt, they attacked the vampire gathering at Prague(as depicted in Bloodhunt) and generally follow directives set by La EntitΓ
they're a Catholic military organization under direct supervision of the Vatican that focuses on anti-supernatural warfare and recruits from a wide array of other organizations in catholic countries, anything from imbued Hunters, to former military and intelligence agents and others
however they're only a single organization in the wider conspiracy of the Second Inquisition(vampire term, the Vatican thinks of it as a single continuation of the original inquisition and the glowies don't like the term), usually just call themselves "the Coalition"
the Coalition often shares information with each other, so while Entity will recieve intel and tips from the CIA/NSA, they're still a Vatican agency
