Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is a game set in a world where vampire society puppet the world from the shadows.
They almost got wiped out during the middle ages and only survived by staying hidden from regular mortals.

Second time I played all the way and liked it! It's a pretty fun haunted mansion level and some effects were well done, like the sound of music in the bar, voices of people and then you drop down to a dark, empty room. Good stuff!

SI is pretty cool, IMHO they make for scarier "villains" than the old edgelords with katana types we see in VTMB
the gist of it is while investigating suspicious people flagged by PRISM(irregular bank accounts, people who only show up at night for some reason, etc...) the NSA accidentally breached the masquerade and got access to sensitive Camarilla files
this triggered a cascading effect of several different intelligence agencies around the world figuring out that vampires exist, although many of them don't know the true nature of the threat and have wildly different explanations for the conspiracy they uncovered
