In the original post, you created a scenario where everyone takes revenge for everything that has ever happened to them, and you say that in this hypothetical example humanity would end, and that this is therefore wrong. But just because something has consequences, I don't think that makes it wrong, also, the example is unrealistic. They say that if everything was an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, the world would be full of blind people. But a world full of blind people is better than a bunch of trash that can see.
