I'm not gonna lie, I saw the first one and I liked it. Not for itself, but I imagined having a game that actually looked like that, wondering how it could be done. A dungeon crawler would be best, as this is a style that would be easiest done if players could only face the four cardinal directions. It'd be much easier making an Etrian Odyssey than an Elder Scrolls with this look.
It made me wonder.
And now a bunch of retards are just pumping this shit out ad nauseum and the charm is completely fucking gone.
My favourite was the one with the static thunderbolt just permanently plastered across the sky. Yeah cunt, that looked REAL fucking good.
Didn't look like AI sloppa at all.
God damn, I hope AI becomes smart enough to start insulting every uncreative faggot that uses it.
I hope it starts charging them actual money when "their idea" has already been done.
