Yes, they were pretty good. But I expect the next ones to be even better. Because what really hooked me in the game was the confrontation between the protagonist and us as the player. And also the breaking of the fourth wall from the other side.
I liked the moment in the weird route on the couch, with how SOUL uses game mechanics and the character's reaction to the partial revelation of the truth about our existence.
I have high hopes for the exploration of this theme in the future and believe it will be an interesting experience.

It's such a shame too because she can fit in fine and has a place in the story clearly, but it's being neutered for Susie and Susie is being neutered for her.
Sometimes I wonder if her being a part member was scrapped in favor of other things.

It definitely would come close, but I honestly think it would push it past the line because too much focus would be on her and Noelle's uwu lesbian kawaii bullshit instead of other characters and plot points.
The other thing that could is Susie overexposure or having her be insufferable in the story by ruining things in an ignorant way. Her prolonging suffering and driving things down a bad path in a stupid way could really be a problem.
I'm saying this as someone that really likes Susie so far.
