Susie wanted eternity and Gerson said that his hope was that the next generation would pick up his own and keep writing, and was even cool with inaccurate adaptions of his work...so I'd guess that the true ending would involve that in some way? They'd need to escape the confines of mundane media where all interactions are pre-made and enter a realm of pure imagination, so maybe the game world dissolves and moves to the imagination of the player? As long as you never forget them and keep producing fanart and fanfiction, they'll continue to live within your mind forever.

Like cyberworld, but with a bunch of childhood nostalgia stuff added in, and all the tech darkners are really old. The whole thing is run by my PC, which has become a darkner named Mr. Tower.

In the light world he's an old Dell tower from the early 2000s, in the dark world he's a thrifty and ambitions business man who's been around the block (too many times). He looks a bit like a cross between Tenna and Queen. More obviously mechanical, but still dressed in a suit (this time a grey and black business suit) with a CRT head. His personality is like a slightly friendlier cross between J Jonah Jameson and Cave Johnson. He's stern and strict, but prone to bombastic outbursts, and is willing to do anything to keep his company above water. He's big, imposing, and acts tough, most of the darkners are intimidated by him. But he's got a secret. He's not nearly as strong as he looks. Old age has gotten to him and his health is failing. He knows that in the cuttrhoat world of business any sign of weakness, any slowdown, any failure, means certain death. So he works his hardest to make sure no one knows his faults. All the while desperately trying to still do his job well enough to not get overtaken by his competitors.

My desk is probably his company's headquarters, called Tower Tower. It houses most of his business, including the vast majority of his employees. Its a real salt mine, but you can tell that everyone there genuinely cares about their craft.

The adventure would probably involve him roping me into his company and forcing to work dilligently on all the projects I've been neglecting, with a sub plot of the down trodden darkners (the various electronic junk under my bed) plot a revolution.
