Do we still need jobs

I know that we're wasting no time getting philosophical about what it means to be "conscious", or how to use this ethically because Zuckerberg's building a data center the size of Manhattan to train his and outcompete it.

I'm strictly asking what this means in the context of "Work". How much has just just been made obsolete as long as people know that this exists. If it isn't now, will it be next week.
