the amount of bullshit one shots this game has that devolves to "I picked this character/class in the menu, now you have to chance of fighting me" is fucking stupid.
That and there are so many one shot abilities for individual classes like the vanguard. None of them have any real counterplay either and its just some univrsally accepted or lauded part of the game "because I can play as anakin wow." The game is so casual its painful at times, you can just lose a match because some player stood in the backline farming battleshekels all round and now is playing as some hero with 15 exploits and singlehandedly wins the game while you're reliant on your idiot teammates to play a hero that actually might have a decent shot of killing the guy rampaging.
Battlefield games can and do have OP vehicles but at least they aren't in the same play space as a regular player and each class has real counterplay

Hello anons, I have a DDR3 memory type motherboard and I'm looking at upgrading the GPU to an RX 570 which has GDDR5 memory. I assume these two are incompatible but I see upgrade videos on youtube use/recommend this card. Is there something I'm missing

it suffers by being a hero shooter and thus suffering from the typical hero shooter bloat where in order to add new content we have to add new heroes and thus create more and more complicated design that creates a huge dissonance between veteran and new players.
Also the design seems to have too many "this character shuts down this other character completely" architype which is never fun, but I could be wrong since I haven't followed the game since OW1.
The real real problem with the game though is that it like every other dumbass comp game in existence expects a high level of coordination and sacrifice from randos playing together when most people playing literally any shooter just wanna frag and the objective is secondary.
