Np. You can also crawl through the free GDC Vault videos. Leagues of game designers, both legendary and relatively unknown indie, have given talks on design over the years. You can just find one with a topic that sounds cool or if its from a game designer you like. Some of them feel a bit stuffy imo, which studying "game design" as a subject has a tendency to become.. but at the end of the day it's not harmful to extract something out of the play experience and put it under an analytical microscope. Eventually design becomes pretty vibes based, but knowing these patterns and principles can help you get off the ground and build that intuition. Good luck
