Well here's a good lesson for you guys
>Doing a 4 day fast
>Break my fast 16 hours early because I need to get bloodwork done for my yearly checkup
>Get the results back
>Everything is mostly fine, but I test very high for ALT (53 U/L, normal range is 10-45)
>Doctor starts freaking out saying I might have fatty liver disease (I'm also on carnivore, at this point 2 months in so she thought my diet was killing me)
>Tells me to come back in a few weeks to get my blood checked again

I did a bit of research online. Turns out ALT is also secreted during muscle loss, and a research paper from a few years ago found that you can induce false positives for fatty liver disease about half the time on blood tests by subjecting men to weight lifting programs before getting bloodwork done. So, I did no lifting and didn't fast for 3 days before my blood test this time... and my alt levels came back completely normal.
