The average person who came back to these Chapters probably doesn't even remember who December is
Toby gives a lot to the people who really appreciate his games and love to put the pieces together but the story still has to work for the person who doesn't know what's going on until it's explicitly spelled out for them

The Knight creates Dark Fountains and operates in the Light World. They cannot be a Darkner, we've known this since Chapter 2.
The average person who came back to these Chapters probably doesn't even remember who December is

I clowned on the anon last thread for suggesting "that girl" who played with Kris was Dess instead of Noelle, but the more I think about it the more it starts to REALLY make sense
>Dess is all over the place in Chapter 3, but there isn't a single clear reference to Noelle
>If Kris played with Dess more than Noelle, it makes sense why Noelle would feel unsure if they were friends and say they weren't that close when they were younger
>King and Queen being things Kris and Dess used to play with explains why The Knight (Dess) made those Dark Worlds, and why they did things like making King the only king
>explains why Kris and The Knight's Dark Worlds are identical compared to Susie's
