>3 double plasma saturnines have a 1/6 chance to deal a single wound to themselves every shooting phase.
>3 double disintegrators will almost certainly kill one saturnine a shooting phase.
>Disintegrators are more expensive than plasma bombards.
What the fuck did GW mean by this, I expect this sort of shit from orks lol.

I have no idea honestly. I also haven't seen Veletarii stats, my comments are just speculation based on 2.0 datasheets and the marine Volkite chargers which we HAVE seen, as well as unsubstantiated rumours I've seen online.
Since volkite chargers are Assault weapons there's probably some game in declaring max range charges to cheat out extra snapshots every turn and provide some last ditch support fire when they get jumped by despoilers or Assault marines.

>Ultima Cohorts get one free reaction for rifles every phase. Not turn, PHASE.
>Solar Cohorts turn Dracos into assault transports.
>Recon Cohorts let cavalry control objectives
>Mechanised Cohorts actually just steal the deathguard legion rule.
>siege Cohorts make all barrage attacks with pinning +1 point harder to resist
>Iron Cohorts can bring castellax, Thallax and tech priests, also give all rifles expendable 1 (lol)
>every specialist HQ gives their associated units a different buff.
>line command sections give all infantry +1 line.
>Veletaris Command Sections give all Veletarii a 5+ FnP against reaction attacks and volley fire
>Artillery command sections reduce scatter on barrage weapons.
>command tanks make nearby allied tanks auto repair 4+
>Recon command sections give nearby sentinels volley fire at full ballistic skill.
The usability of many of these rules may be questionable but it still amazes me that the Auxilias Consul equivalents have special gimmicks to buff their associated units to give you a reason to take over the tac command (which is a centurion equivalent) meanwhile many legion consuls are just fucking wargear loadouts.
Also the Auxilia of all people get cavalry command squads while every legion bike character gets his wheels impounded. Thats hilarious.
ALSO also the damn aetheon heavy sentinel is the only warmachine in the game which can be deployed in units of 1-3.
The absolute state of the legiones astartes.

I don't think I suggested using that ability offensively? Please don't put words in my mouth.
I also didn't mention meltaguns either. What I said was that the rule forces enemy duelists wanting to jump Perturabo to wait until every dangerous direct fire ranged weapon within 12" of perturabo is dead, including not just infantry but also every vehicle or dreadnought without the blast tag too because this rule >>96035134 never actually mentions unit types, just iron warriors not currently locked in melee.
The gambit basically let's any non blast ranged weapon within 12" of pert become a sniper rifle for a turn. If your only counter to that is "just kill every powerful shooting unit within 12 inches of the primarch of a legion renowned for good shooting first" then you need to understand thats literally just how you fight Iron Warriors. You kill their guns before their guns kill you.
Its not as if its any great burden for the IW to spend shitloads of points on guns senpai. They were never going to bring anything else anyway.

I usually don't bother picking up the brush if I don't have a couple of hours to paint. Guess I should start just painting even if I only have 30 mins.

>look it up
>France player base walking up to the opponents to place cannons on a smaller map for overall map control
Alright yeah, makes sense.
