I have a grand total of four steam acquaintances (Steam friends are not actual "friends", never forget that) and have never spoken to or played with any of them beyond whatever single interaction led to them friending me in the first place. I almost exclusively play singleplayer stuff, they may as well not be in my list at all, but it's a nice reminder knowing they're all still there.

My Dad was playing World at War, War Thunder and MW1 modded servers up until his death. Dude had lost partial sight in his left eye from multiple strokes so he had to turn his head to see clearly. Still could frag like a motherfucker.

Still remember the time during an all-nighter at a netcafe where the whole place was in one big BF1942 Desert Combat server and I kept spawn killing him with a M2 Bradley and being a little annoying shit talking trash. Dad dragged my ass off the computer outside of the shop and smacked my ass.

I just want to get to a point where I enjoy playing vidya, rather than using vidya as an escape. Kinda gotten there; I only play games for 1-2 houts a day and enjoy it much more than when I aimlessly played for 6+ hours a day.
