yeah honestly those whole 5-6 episodes kinda blur together. i was just sure of it because I've rewatched that scene many times for reasons. it's fun how the ball kinda out as symbolizing Sisko and their rivalry but then you also then see him using it as a kind of stress relief toy unironically too
