He's correct that retroarch cores are the most accurate emulation, and that's literally all that matters. Using something else is like bragging you use gzdoom for regular wads because it's "feature rich". 5 seconds of temporary once in a lifetime inconvenience is a small price to pay for good emulation, and not a single person has offered a more accurate alternative.
