It didn't. This is another HRT-fueled cubie delusion. The shartcube's "legacy" and "cultural relevance" is propped up by a dozeon obese troons streaming their speedruns of Mario Shitsine, and sMelee groomer conventions.
It's library boils down to better RE4 cutscenes, a dozen shovelware party games, the worst 3D mario, and the GBA player to play some actual good games. The only good thing about the Shartcube in 2025 is having is being an add-on after you softmod your much superior Wii.

Worse than every Nintendo console before it, worse than every other console released in the 6th gen, and worse than every Nintendo conosle released after it. The PS2 mogs it in every way imaginable, with better games, more games, more attachment, better media playback, better controller, better online, etc
